This range brings together what a building site, yard or depot needs at the gate and around the work area. The best-known products are our life-size construction worker figures – free-standing, full-height signs that catch a driver's eye far sooner than a flat panel. Each figure is available with a choice of messages, including caution site entrance, construction traffic, site speed limits, safety equipment must be worn, report to the site office and construction site keep out, plus a blank whiteboard version you can write on.
Alongside the signs you will find the equipment that goes with them: hi-vis vests, polo shirts, sweatshirts and jackets; barrier board systems, expanding barriers and gate barriers; barrier tape; and trench covers. Temporary signposts for people at work, open manholes, site car parks and site office reporting can be moved as the job moves.
Signs are printed to order in our Blackburn workshop; clothing, barriers and other equipment are supplied ready to use.
For hazard warnings such as slippery surfaces and forklift routes, see Health & Safety. Vehicle routes, speed limits and one-way systems are in Private Road & Site Traffic, and posts, bollards and fixings are in Posts & Fixings.
Questions about Construction & Site Signs
What construction site signs do you sell?
PPE signs, site safety rules boards, construction warning signs, scaffold signs and machinery safety signs, plus made-to-order site boards.
Which material is best on a building site?
3 mm aluminium composite is rigid and rust-proof for outdoor use; RA1 reflective aluminium composite helps a sign stand out in low light. Both can be fitted to posts, fencing or hoardings.
Can I order a site board with my company details?
Yes. Site Boards in Custom Signs are made to order with your company name, project details and logo, and we send a proof for approval before printing.
How do I fix signs to fencing or posts?
Fixing holes, wall-fixing kits and post clips can be chosen as options on the product page where they suit the sign and material. Otherwise, fixings are available separately in Posts & Fixings.
